Rev. Yoseb Jeon

Pastor

Yoseb Jeon is a relational pastor who is eager to see God's abundant grace and love in our daily living. Through his pastoral journey, God has graciously taught him to love and serve God's precious people, believe the power of prayers, and acknowledge the Lordship of Christ. He is passionate about connecting the resources of God to the needs of people with faithful Christ followers. Prior to his current role, he has served at Hackensack UMC and also as an associate English ministry pastor at KUMC of South Jersey, for young adults and college students. Yoseb earned his Master of Divinity degree from Drew Theological School in 2014. He is blessed to have his wife, Yoonjung, and three lovely children, Chloe, Daniel and Samuel as his life journey companions. 

Mitch Samu

Director of Music Ministries

Mitch Samu is a professional Music Composer, Music Director, Church Musician, Pianist/Keyboardist, Composer, and Music Transcriber. Whether on Broadway, in local theaters or with church organizations, Mitch has been offering his musical talents for more than 30 years. As a Church Musician, Mitch has served the Columbine United Church and is currently the Music Director here at First United Methodist Church. Since 2000, he has amassed more than 300 production credits; most noteworthy include Saturday Night Fever, Head Over Heals (Lafayette College), Passing Strange (Vanguard Theater), and Hunterdon Hills Playhouse. Additionally, he has created a number of original compositions as well as the Five-Minute Piano Lesson series on YouTube. In Mitch's spare time, he and his wife Kristen, compose customized wedding lyrics for couples. He is the proud father of Willon and Orion and devoted husband to Kristen. 

Susan Zuckerman

Church Administrator

Susan is the Church Administrator at First United Methodist Church of Freehold. She is dedicated to managing all aspects of our church's office, including visitor reception, Sunday service preparations, the church's calendar and our weekly newsletter. In addition to this part-time role, Susan is also the Artistic Director for United Theatre, a non-profit theatre company founded by her daughter, Leah Zuckerman. Educated at the Freehold Regional Fine and Performing Arts Center (FPAC), the Governor’s School of New Jersey and Mason Gross School of the Arts, Susan has been a dance teacher, choreographer, and actor for over 35 years.
